Gourmet du Village Baked Leek & Onion Dip with Gruyere Cheese

 

Ingredients:

  • Contents of the pouch of GOURMET DU VILLAGE LEEK & ONION DIP MIX
  • 250 ml (1 cup) real mayonnaise
  • 250 ml (8.8 oz) sour cream
  • 180 ml (2/3 cup) finely grated Gruyere cheese
  • 125 g (4 oz) cream cheese, cut into small cubes and softened

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C (350˚F)
  2. Put aside 15 ml (1 tbsp) of the Gruyere cheese.
  3. Combine all ingredients (except for the 1 tbsp of Gruyere cheese you have set aside) in a bowl. Transfer to a Gourmet du Village dip baker.
  4. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until bubbly around the edges.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remainder of the Gruyere cheese. Place under hot broiler for about 1 minute or until top becomes golden brown. Watch carefully so as not to let it burn.
  6. Serve with toasted baguette slices or rice crackers.
