Demeyere offers you a choice from a wide range of frypans. Depending on what you expect from a frypan, Demeyere has an appropriate selection: with or without coating, heavy or light and several designs. All these products are very user-friendly; dishwasher and oven resistant, handles that remain cool and are sized to accommodate lids from other Demyere product series.
For frypans, Demeyere utilizes 7-PlyMaterial®; a unique technology consisting of 7 alloys including stainless steel and an aluminum core. The layers are formed over the bottom and the side of the products. This technology guarantees that the heat is spread evenly over the whole surface of the pan right up to the rim. The total thickness of the 7 layers varies with the style of the pan to obtain the right temperature for the typical cooking process for which the product is used. Because the 7-PlyMaterial conducts heat so efficiently it allows for frying on low heat.
Some of the Demeyere frypans feature a non-stick option. The Multiglide® coating is based on synthetic diamond crystals and nano-composites, guaranteeing non-stick protection. This surface is very durable provided no sharp objects are used on it and it is non overheated, plus it is easy to clean even in a dishwasher. No coated frypans are suitable for oven or broil use.
In addition to all the "traditional" products, our range also includes a very large assortment of specialties items.
